A falling-star puzzle

Ouranelle

Chain the stars of four elements and dim the seven keepers of the sky.

How it plays

Every star wakes the next

Twins of fire, water, air and earth fall into the glass column. Drag to steer, tap a side to turn, flick down to drop. A Kindler in its gold setting burns every connected star of its element the moment it touches one. The stars above fall into the gap, and every new contact fires another link at a higher harmonic: ×1, ×2, ×3, ×5, ×8.

Over the column the Zodiac Ring turns one sign per twin. The element under its pointer counts double, and on every twelfth twin comes a conjunction, when every Kindler in the sky flares at once.

The Seven Spheres

A climb from the Moon to Saturn

Each sphere has a keeper who rains meteors on you. Your chains cancel the gathering shower first, then dim the keeper's light. Dim it, take a favour from the gods, and climb on.

Climb

Seven Spheres

Seven keepers, each with its own shower: Scorpius's meteors wake after two twins, Draco coils its stones across the columns, and Ouranos brings a conjunction every eight. Between spheres you choose one favour, from the Aegis of Athena to the Owl that reads a meteor's fate.

Rest

Still Sky

No keeper and no meteors, only the ring and your chains. When the column fills, the top of the sky drifts away and the session goes on as long as you like.

Think

Pleiad Riddles

Twenty-one still skies in three risings, each a fixed Firmament and a fixed set of twins. The twins hang until you drop them, and every riddle has an answer that uses them all.

Aether belongs to every element at once. Where it lies, fire leaps from one colour into the next.

Instruments of a long night

Armillary

Twenty nodes on three rings, inscribed with the ambrosia every climb gathers: new favours, lasting craft, tube metals and painted skies.

Planisphere

Twenty-four asterisms across four figures. Light all six of a figure and it shines gold.
